Became a born again believer in July 1989 and was baptized August 1989 at the Bronx Baptist Church. Where, I served as an usher for two years. After my service there I was lead by the Holy Spirit to the True Gospel Tabernacle Church. Six months later, in August of 1991, I joined True Gospel Tabernacle under the leadership of Reverend Leroy Benton who was the Pastor.

I attended True Gospel Tabernacle Bible Institute, under the leadership of Pastor Leroy Benton, and then continued in my studies in ministry in various outside classes. In 1994 I was called by God into ministry to preach the gospel. I started preaching December 1998, from that calling God anointed me to teach the word of God. Initially, I taught Child Evangelism, then Sunday school and in September 1999 I started teaching Bible Survey I & II at the True Gospel Tabernacle Bible Institute until 2002.

Not many days hence the Lord led me from True Gospel Tabernacle and directed me to Greater Liberty Temple Church, Inc. I joined Greater Liberty Temple in August of 2002 under the leadership of Bishop Keith R, Wright, Sr. I was instrumental in starting the Bible Institute at Greater Liberty Temple, Inc. I’m also a part of the ministerial staff. On June 12, 2005 I was ordained as an Elder in the Lords church.

Through the years I have ministered at several Women’s Conferences and invited as a Seminarian to teach on many different topics. Entrepreneurship is a gift that is placed upon me by God as well; in 2005 I started DJ’s Fashions (Dress Your Best For Less).

In 2007 the Lord blessed me to become a Licensed Chaplain which began another area of ministry. In 2008 God opened the door to a supervisory position in Virginia at a major law firm where He strategically directed me to relocate. Within a few months I was interviewed by the head Chaplain at the Potomac Hospital as a volunteer Chaplain and received a position in ministry there. I am also an Avon Representative since fall of 2008.

In 2009, through obedience to God and much prayer, I officially incorporated Spirit and Truth Tabernacle Ministries. Where there is vision God gives provision; He provided the building space for me to start a weekly teaching series on intercessory prayer.

One of my goals is to achieve my Doctorate in Theology as I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. I love God and love to teach and preach His Word and I believe in the truth of His Word.

God told me to stand and help others to stand by building a solid foundation through the Word of God. I have come this far by the Grace of God and truly give Him all the praise and glory for what He has done.

I am grateful that the Lord allowed us all to enter in 2010!
2009 wasn’t the easiest of years, but through the eyes of faith, I see great things awaiting all of us in 2010. The reason I’m sending this email... the Lord blessed my publishing ministry with an awesome door of opportunity and we are looking to do even greater works on this year!
Years ago, I wrote a book titled I Will Do A New Thing In You. A local ministry asked if I would allow them to include the book as a gift to women incarcerated. We want to do the same next year.
