Minister James L. Gause, Jr. is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. He is the oldest of five children. Minster Gause is married to the former Patricia Scott, and between them they have six children.

He is the product of the Baltimore City and County Catholic School Systems of Maryland. He graduated from Calvert Hall College High School. He is currently studying for a Criminal Justice Degree at the University of Phoenix.

Minister Gause comes from a large family full of preachers, deacons, and teachers. He has always followed in the footsteps of his grandfather the late Bishop Jobie Gause of the Church Of God In Christ. On February 22, 2008 Minister Gause proclaimed God’s calling on his life, preached his Trial Sermon, and was licensed to preach the Gospel. He has been busy working for Jesus and he’s not tired yet; he loves preaching God’s Word.

Minister Gause is an Associate Minister at Ray of Hope Baptist Church where his Pastor is Rev. Charles M. Franklin, Jr. Minister Gause has been blessed to be constantly used by the Lord in his Church and Community. He is the State Director of the Junior Laymen for The United Baptist Missionary Convention and Auxiliaries of Maryland, Inc.

Minister Gause claims nothing by himself but proclaims that all honor, praise, and glory belong to God alone. He believes without a doubt that only what you do for Christ will last; that no matter what may come he will not stop in well doing for in due season he shall reap because he will not be discouraged. (Galatians 6:9)

Knowing that God does not call the equipped but equips the called, Minister Gause is a committed servant who is appointed by God to preach His Holy Word. Let everyone hear what thus saith the Lord!
